Plans for Online Counseling
Covid-19
Update date 03/19/2020
The situation around Covid-19 is rapidly changing in our area. We are diligently working to make preparations for continued care as we are able throughout this Coronavirus situation.
Please be aware that we are looking to the possibility of providing services online (note* not all situations are appropriate for telehealth services Please reach out to your counselor to determine the appropriateness of your individual situation). We are asking for your assistance with this change.
What we need you to do if you are a current client:
1. Contact your insurance company to see if telehealth services (sessions provided online through HIPAA compliant software) are covered. (note* not all situations are appropriate for telehealth services. Please reach out to your counselor to determine the appropriateness of your individual situation)
2. Download the Informed Consent for Virtual Care Services (below), fill it out, sign it and email it to admin@thecenter4counseling.com
3. If your insurance does not cover telehealth services (or you do not have insurance) our counselors will provide 30 minute online sessions for only $45 (note* not all situations are appropriate for telehealth services. Please reach out to your counselor to determine the appropriateness of your individual situation)
If you are not a current client:
Reach out via phone to 843-663-0770 or email admin@thecenterforcounseling.com and one of our office administrators will reach out regarding scheduling.
Covid-19
Update date 03/14/2020
With the heightened awareness and public concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) as well as the ongoing seasonal flu virus and common cold, we want to assure you that public health and safety concerns are our highest priority.
At The Center, we are very intentional about providing clean, sanitary, and safe environments for people to meet and receive care. The play therapy room and toys are disinfected by staff.
While we realize no public environment is 100% safe, we take every precaution and safety measure possible and are diligent in regard to proper cleaning standards and sanitation. We encourage you to wash your hands frequently and to refrain from simple actions such as shaking hands. Also, if you or your children are ill, please call the office and reschedule your appointments. Normal late cancellation fees will not apply during this time.
Above all, Trust in the Lord. Please stay healthy, prepared and informed. We recommend you use the following link:

(CDC) for your source of information rather than the media.
We will strive to keep you updated quickly regarding appointments and government changes in regulations as soon as we hear anything further.
