About Us
We are a nonprofit out-patient mental health and addiction counseling center serving Horry County in four office locations; North Myrtle Beach, Surfside, Conway, and Loris. Our professional staff of Master's level licensed counselors and social workers with specialties in play therapy, addictions, marital and family counseling, and trauma recovery are here to help you deal with mental, emotional, spiritual, relational issues.
We take a holistic approach in helping to restore individuals to health in significant areas of their lives through various types of services: Individual and family counseling; group counseling; premarital and marital counseling; and educational groups. Our community partners help us in our mission to reach the underserved with offices at New Directions, North Strand Housing Shelter, and Sanctuary Recovery Foundation.
We have flexible hours and convenient locations with a mission to bring hope and healing to all those struggling with mental, emotional, relationship, and spiritual issues regardless of ability to pay.

Our Mission
The Center for Counseling & Wellness is the Premier Counseling Center of the North Strand area of Horry County. We are a group of dedicated Professional Licensed Counselors who are working to improve the lives of people within our community. Our mission is to move individuals to a more productive, healthy, and independent life style by providing hope and healing through use of evidence based practices. Our community partners are an important part of our mission as we assist people with emotional, relational, spiritual, and physical needs. We strive to meet each individual’s needs regardless of ability to pay for services.
